The Distance

There we were...
standing right next to each other
There we were...
sitting close to each other
Our bodies touched
Our skin electrified
But you seem to be as far as in eternity

There we were walking hand in hand
There we were in our never ending conversations
sharing good old laughs and our deep thoughts
But the distance between us seem endless

Now I have come to a realization...
The furthest distance is not between life and death
It's between me and you...
